AYURVEDIC TREATMENTS
Derived from an ancient 5,000 year old Indian tradition, these treatments are designed to loosen toxins in the body and release excesses. AQUATIC BODYWORK
All sessions are given in the picturesque terrace pool to the left of the wellness center at Pura Vida. In body temperature water, relaxation becomes redefined as the perfect condition for the parasympathetic system and the body melts into a peaceful state of serenity. Receiving a series of gentle stretches, massage, Shiatsu and consistent traction, a presence is created within the breath and the Watsu pool is transformed into a self- reflective space where an intentional journey of healing manifests. This nurturing, womblike experience offers powerful transformational opportunities and inner guidance. It offers an opportunity for self-love and a reconnection with one’s pure essence.

Watsu: is a massage performed on the water that combines breath connection, Zen Shiatsu stretches and energy work in body temperature water allowing your body to return to its natural state of Well Being. Watsu is always done with the mouth and nose above the water.
